Farm Hippie Farmers Market is celebrating its Fifth Anniversary in a BIG WAY! Since opening our doors to the public in 2019, we have witnessed our mission come to life and live out daily. We opened our doors with just ourselves and 30 vendors. We have joyfully watched the vendor count climb upward of 180 families with an ongoing rising waiting list. This is a true testament that the need to offer a safe space for producers to market with their community, year-round and beyond traditional farmers market hours, far exceeds our initial expectations. It has been a dream come true to watch our market thrive and see this wave of supporting local agriculture ripple into outreach communities. Because of this, we get to share our incredible news with you.
The growth of Farm Hippie is a result of community support. For that, we have always maintained an insurmountable feeling of deep gratitude that carries us into our next chapter. After seeing and filling a need to continue to support locals, we never intended to operate out of only one location. We have thoughtfully and carefully forged a path that allowed us to grow with you, and after much consideration, we have secured our downtown spot in Farm Hippie’s second location.
Farm Hippie Farmers Market will open its doors in downtown Pawhuska, Oklahoma, in late summer/early fall 2024. Many of our core vendors will join us, leaving an entire market open to supporting Pawhuska producers and surrounding communities in growing with us, just as with Collinsville. Together, these markets will continue to serve customers and producers alike with homegrown, sustainable, Oklahoma-produced products.
