Congratulations to this month’s Vendor of the Month award winner, Shawna Crowson with The Dog House Bark ‘n Grill!
Shawna has been a Farm Hippie family member since September 2019 and has been a customer favorite for just as long. She was chosen for her dedication to providing healthy natural alternatives and her enthusiasm for serving her furry customers only the best. She just truly loves doing what she does and her zest and joy for doing so is just so contagious!
Shawna started creating and baking her dog treats almost 30 years ago. Her inspiration drew from the alarming amount of recalls from commercial dog treat brands. After losing one of her own beloved furbabies, she became more aware of label reading and was alarmed with what she discovered. She’s since crafted her own recipes with simple, trustworthy ingredients that are Fido-approved and as natural as can be. Her love of dogs drives her, and since becoming an “official” LLC in 2018, it shows. She’s continually finding new and creative ways to please her pooch customers. Shawna says, “I just love making dogs happy. That’s just my goal in life.”
