This month we’re celebrating one of our talented jam artisans…but these are not your grandma’s jams! This month’s Farm Hippie Vendor of the Month winner was nominated for her expertise, originality, and friendly entrepreneurial mindset. Without further ado, this month’s winner is Jake’s Jams, specializing in one-of-a-kind fruit and cocktail blends, supporting veterans through the American Legion. She’s now added to her line of products Dilly crackers and freshly blended nut butter available directly under her jam shelving. We’re so thrilled to have Jonnie as a part of this vendor family with us. It certainly wouldn’t be the same without her!
Here’s what Jonnie, the owner & creator of Jake’s Jams, says about her Vendor of the Month nomination:
“I am so honored with this being a vendor-based award! I absolutely love owning my own business. The part I adore the most is doing farmers markets and events, interacting with customers always puts a smile on my face! Whether it is sharing recipes or answering questions. I love, love, love this amazing community. I have learned so much from other vendors… farmers, beekeepers, artisans, and bakers. I definitely would not be as far as I am without them! Jake’s Jams is growing, and I am so proud of all the hard work I have put in. Try some new cashew butter, pop tarts, or a Danish. Being a small business owner is full of ups and downs and I am grateful for all of it, for me the most important thing I do is support veterans in any way I can from donating to the American Legion to being a member of the Sons and daughters of Vietnam War.”
