Let’s talk Vendor of the Month! Our Farm Hippie vendors do so many amazing things here
in the store and throughout the community. Here at Farm Hippie, surround each other with
support and love to share in each other’s accomplishments. This is one of the many reasons
we choose to celebrate our Vendor of the Month, a vendor chosen by peers within our Farm
Hippie Community. So, this month, let’s celebrate Strong Blossoms! Owner and creator of
Strong Blossoms, Amanda, shares a little about herself below:

Hi everyone! I’m Amanda, the owner and creator behind Strong Blossoms.
I was fortunate to have grown up in a family full of creative and artistic people. The art on the walls was painted by grandparents, and we snuggled with handmade dolls, wore homemade Halloween costumes, and slept under quilts made by hands that loved us.

Once I became a mother myself I knew I wanted to give my children that same sense of comfort and familiarity and so I began to create for them, and it was then that I began to understand the love and care that truly goes into a handmade item and how that love is what turns a relatively ordinary object into a bit of magic.

I began to feel an overwhelming desire to pass that same magic into the hands of other mamas of littles…and from that my small business was born. What I love most about my business and being a part of Farm Hippie is that my customers have truly become a part of my family. I made dolls their children cuddled with, blankets they snuggled under at night, and whimsical toys that enriched their imaginative play. Nothing gives me more joy than having someone come up to me and tell me how much loved one of my creations is, it’s absolutely the why behind what I do.

As my three children have grown a bit older, my business has grown and evolved into what it is today, a way to send a bit of ordinary magic out into the world while helping me to maintain the magic within my own home. I am forever thankful to have been given the opportunity to turn something I love into a way to help support the people I love most.

Thank you, Amanda, and thank you community for supporting her business! You can find
her in the seasonal produce bins and her center space on the artisan side of the
storefront as well as on her Facebook page!
